What is Cutlery? The basic, simple answer is it's a comic. I originally published it in 2011 and made up copies and took them with me when I went to A.P.E. I sold two copies.

But what Cutlery is at it's core is a comedy/superhero tale. It plays very much on the over-the-top humor that "The Tick" played on. What I mean by that is that Cutlery protects Scone City. His sidekick is Sue Cheff and he patrols the city on his Ginsu Chopper (his motorcycle).

Done in the same vein as The Tick cartoon, the movie The Mystery Men or the old Batman TV show. I loved watching those re-runs and the "POW" and "KA-BOOM" flashing across the screen. As a kid it was cool. Now grown up, it's still something fun. Which is basically what I'd like to think Cutlery is. It's fun. Fun from when he's commenting on how great his baba ghanoush is coming out, to when a little footnote points out he's now entering his "super secret hideout". That kind of fun.

For the time being, Cutlery is updated every Mondays. I hope you enjoy it.
